Frequently Asked Questions
fabric bowls
I’m happy to do custom orders. If you tell me what colors you are looking for I can email you some fabric pictures to choose among. Custom bowls are the same price as those already in the store unless I have to purchase a more expensive than normal fabric.
The bowls can be hand washed or placed on the top rack of a dishwasher. After washing, the bowl should be allowed to air dry. It could take a day to dry completely. Feel free to touch it up with the iron if necessary.
How do you reverse a fabric bowl?
All you have to do is push on the base while you fold the sides over.
Can you fold the bowls so they are flat?
No. While the bowls are reversible, they cannot be folded flat.
What do you put in a fabric bowl?
Just about anything! Some ideas are potpourri, dried flowers, guest soaps, keys, remotes, fruit, and napkins. Please don’t put anything greasy in the bowl (such as potato chips) as the oil may stain the fabric.
wall hangings
How do I hang the wall-hanging?
Each wall hanging has a sleeve on the back. You can use a cafe rod or a curtain rod to hang the piece.
bandannas
The fabric was pre-washed before I made the bandanna. I use Shout Color Catcher to pick up any excess dye.
They each measure about 21″ x 21″.
hat frills
Hat frills are items that will dress up any plain hat. I string small pieces of multicolor batiks on elastic jewelry cord. All you do is put the frill around the crown of the hat for a great vibrant look.
